“When I began my career search, I knew that the mission, philosophy and culture of a company would be the primary factors that would ensure a long-lasting relationship steeped in mutual investment and maximum benefit for both parties. I read about Acuity in the Washington Business Journal Best Places to Work listing and am encouraged by your company’s commitment to employee success and results-based approach to business applications. I have taken the time researching Acuity on your website and other online searches. One of the reasons for my email is because your website provided the looking glass into your culture and day-to-day life. It’s apparent that thoughtful intention went into the creation of the website..” ~ Recent Experienced Hire Applicant, referencing Acuity’s recruitment marketing promotional materials
Client: Acuity – Private Consultancy/Federal Contractor, Herndon, VA
Project Goals: Increase perceived value of a consulting career with a mid-sized firm, promote culture, opportunity, diversity and work-life balance
EddyComm’s Role: Surveyed existing employee base to collect authentic insights about the Acuity experience, worked with recruiting team to understand common new joiner values, wrote and designed the 6-page “Why I Joined, Why I Stay” brochure as an anchor piece of content that is shared at career fairs, in response to unsolicited inquiries, and with new hires during orientation.
Results: Client has been using this same brochure for more than 2 years without adjustment. The message clearly resonates with their target audience and the recruiting team frequently shares feedback from new joiners about how it was the company culture (as perceived through the creative recruiting content) that attracted them to the firm and now makes it such a great place to work.
